...The car then flipped and rolled over five times before coming to a rest with Shawn hanging out of the car which was partially laying on top of him. Fortunately a state policeman and EMS technician were behind the accident and were able to attend to the scene immediately.
The grandmother was bruised and battered and was in serious condition. Shawn was a different story. He arrived at the hospital unconscious. My wife and I immediately took authority over the situation in the name of Jesus, rebuking the spirit of death and declaring the report of the Lord.
We drove that evening to the hospital in Champaign, Illinois and arrived at 3:00 am. Shawn’s father fell sobbing and crying into my arms when we entered into the room. We laid hands on Shawn and declared that he was whole and well.
The next morning the doctors had told the family that Shawn’s brain was severely injured and that the brain had separated causing him to be partially brain dead. Again we took authority over this report, believing the report of the Lord over the doctors.
That afternoon Shawn began to respond by crying and moving around. The attending physician came in and said that he felt Shawn would recover, all though it would take a long time. Already the hospital was changing their opinion.
Shawn’s dad stated that he wanted Shawn at home that day. The boy was flown back to his hometown in Louisville, Kentucky and was in bed at exactly 11:59 pm.
The children’s hospital ran additional tests and determined that Shawn’s brain was bruised with thumbnail blood lets. This was a far cry from 24-hours previously.
Within days Shawn was awake, knew everyone and was accelerating in the rehab center on his way to complete recovery. Last Sunday the family brought Shawn to church to testify of God’s goodness. This is an undeniable miracle.
By the way, Shawn’s grandmother is doing fine and at home. Shawn’s mother had just received a good report of no cancer the week before this happened.
I will add that this family had just sown a $1,000 seed with my ministry for a breakthrough in their life. I believe that their faith and the seed sown served as a testimony before God. I further believe that the seed protected Shawn and his grandmother. The devil cannot cross the line you establish when giving to God. Malachi said that God rebukes the seed eater from your life.
